How it all began…

Greg Peterson, a Helena Montana native, began working for Great Western Chemical Company in 1981. In 2001, he purchased GWC, renaming as his own Chemical Montana Company. Greg was well known throughout the chemical distribution industry for his strong work ethic, determination, humor, extensive knowledge, and sales skills. His customers became friends, and friends became family. On November 16, 2021, Greg unexpectedly passed away, leaving CMC to his three children, Kally Tripp, Trevor Peterson, and Jenny Garza.
